Rare Original Victorian British Army Cavalry Scarlet Wool Working Jacket.

Made from a thick heavy wool and with a thick cream wool liner.

On the shoulders the jacket has steel chain mail epaulettes

The Jacket has Victorian General Service buttons - all present.

War Department stamp in one sleeve.

Bottom pockets are faux / false, so they are not designed to open.

Jacket condition is generally good but with some moth holes which are pictured, and some small trails in a few places.  One shoulder has a slight dark stain. The top collar clasp needs refixing.

Chest Size is approx 40 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement is 21 inches.  Armpit to cuff is 21 inches.
