Gold & Silver Leaf Adhesive/Glue, ideal for Arts and craft, gilding work.

This is a Special Formulated Acrylic Adhesive for Gold/Silver leaf work, with extended bonding time for bonding metal leaf to variety of surfaces.

Application

Apply thinly using a good quality brush. Leave for at least 15 minutes just until TACKY ; the surface will then be in a prime state ready to receive the GOLD or SILVER Leaf.

This prime state will remain for up to 24 hours, allowing large projects to be handled with ease. Brush marks can be avoided by diluting the size with water.

The gold leaf glue may not be suitable for gold leaf which has element of copper as it may go green, you will need to put lacquer on the varnish.
