This is a good cabinet size specimen of silver ore from an historic mine. White barite crystals can be seen on the top side of the specimen. The bottom of the specimen is vuggy and reveals many small formations of silver including one vug holding several beautiful wires. You need magnification to view the details. With 20x you see it all. Some acanthite is present but the heavy black matrix is not acanthite.
