PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING! Winter is a great time to do this conversion while your car is put away for the winter. Don’t wait until a week before car show season!

This add-on wire harness will upgrade your existing harness to the much more reliable second-generation headlight motor system used in 87-89 Firebirds. The advantage is reliability, and the motors are much more readily available as opposed to the first-generation motors which are extremely hard to find these days and are old clunky and unreliable technology. 

This kit does NOT include the second-generation headlight motors. There are aftermarket motors available online, or I have a kit which includes the motors available in my eBay store. 

This kit includes:

1- Wire harness to upgrade your existing 1982-1986 wire harness to work with the second-generation headlight motors and control module used in the 87-89 Pontiac Firebirds. 

1- New aftermarket headlight motor control module or you can choose a good used OEM module (your choice when available). 

5- T-taps crimp on wire terminals to tap into main harness. 

2- Velcro strips for mounting the module.

This kit will require tapping into the existing wire harness at the firewall, but don't worry it's all color coded and labeled and I am happy to answer questions. With this kit the module can be mounted in the same stock location as the 87-92 Firebirds with the included stick-on Velcro. 

I also rebuild the 82   -86 headlight motors, and I NEED CORES, so I am happy to give a $100 refund on your purchase if you send me your old (re-build-able) first-generation headlight motors that you will replace with the more reliable second-generation motors. Now where else are you going to find a deal like this??
