This is a letter opener and a magnifying glass that look as though their inlaid handles are, perhaps, made of bone and ebony.   The letter opener is a little longer than the magnifying glass measuring about 11 inches long. The magnifying glass measures 4 inches across. They were used very little so they are in still in original condition.
