Antique porcelain figurine of King Henry VIII. Six inches high, of white glazed porcelain with hand painted face, hands, and tree trunk with gold decoration. The only mark is the number 32 painted inside the base. I believe it to be German and likely Victorian, or at least pre-WWI, based on the style. I could find none other quite like this one anywhere. I did find a few that were likewise white porcelain with gold decor, but not one in any style with a tree. Most notable flaw is the top of the tree trunk - obviously this was broken long ago, and it appears there was something more attached there as well. He has lost some gold over the years, and possibly some paint. (His left hand in particular is rather pale.) In otherwise good condition.
