I model BNSF Railway in Southern California, and one special train that BNSF routinely operates is the BNSF Railway Southern California Christmas Train. Each year, BNSF Railway employees and volunteers put on Christmas Train events for local charities, hospitals, and members of the military and local law and fire departments. The Southern California Division has a long-standing history of running these Christmas Train specials dating back to the Santa Fe era.
I created these 3D printed parts that fit over most HO Scale locomotive handrails to hold the "banner" that is typically displayed on the side of the locomotive for these special Christmas Train trips. I included a couple prototype pictures that I based this custom part off of.
Up for sale in this listing is just the two (2) 3D printed banners and a pre-applied labels that displays the Southern California Christmas Train text. This is enough to complete one (1) locomotive. The actual locomotive pictured in this listing is not included - only the 2 banner parts.
The parts are 3D printed on an amateur 3D printing machine, so quality is not perfect please be aware (you will notice some stringing on the parts and the surface finish is not smooth). The piece is fragile because the plastic is thin. Color of the plastic is black PLA material. Please see pictures for details and ask questions if you have any! Selling as is.
I will also sell "blank" banners in another listing if you would prefer to make your own label. Thanks for your time!
