This watch was altered (Converted) from pocket in wrist watch (added lugs).
This watch has original Beautiful Art Deco silver 0,800 case which signed LONGINES and serial number: 2250119.
This watch has case with two rear cover - external and internal.
The presence of the inner lid - this is a good protection for mechanism from dust and to provide added protection from shock and moisture.
Also surface of this lid fully engraved twelve medals with exquisite miniature detailing in the center and inscription: “LONGINES - 4 GRANDS PRIX PARIS-PARIS MILAN BRUXELLES”.
This watch has original Gold plated high-grade movement with rare Caliber 19.75, also movement was signed: LONGINES and serial number 2250119.
The serial number on the movement and the serial number on the watch case are identical - 2250119, which indicates the authenticity of the watch.
This serial number dates this watch 1909-1911 as per published production numbers.
The dial is original but only professionally repainted and beautifully restored and now in excellent condition.
Watch Hands – amazing original Louis XVI filigree gold plated steel hands.
This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time.
Instead, you press the little button below the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished.
It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!
