This is a rare, very early (almost antique) 1928 handwritten and signed letter on headed paper by English playwright, composer, director, actor and singer Sir Noel Coward (1899-1973). It is written on stationery bearing the address 111 Ebury Street SW1, the address at which he wrote his first play The Vortex. It comes with the original hand written envelope also in Coward’s hand which bears the postmark 26 February 1928, making this a wonderful and rare memento of Noel Coward’s early theatrical career.
