Nice looking camera, we tested it with a battery from another unit (battery not included). It powers up but when we put a tape in it we get an error “remove the tape”. Also the view screen doesn’t stay closed when turned on its side it just falls open (see pic). Not sure what’s wrong sold as is for parts or repair.
