This Atlantic Coast Line GP-7 diesel was manufactured by Lionel in 2000.  It features:

• Magne-traction - die cast metal wheels and trucks
• Command Equipped -  electro-couplers, Towercom, Crewtalk, Railsounds with diesel horn & bell, directional lighting
• Excellently detailed cab & handrails - Engineer figure in cab .

This diesel is in C-9 "Mint" condition. It has never been on the track or operated. It was completely bench tested (with alligator clips) before listing and all of the mechanical and computer/electronic aspects of operation were "A-OK".

It was issued in an orange & blue Lionel box. That box comes with this diesel and is in crisp, C-8 "Like New" condition, with a few scuffs and nick commensurate with 20 year-old age as the only flaws preventing "Mint" grade. 

Item is from seller's personal collection, purchased at "York" in April 20025 and meticulously stored with the collection since then.  It was never run or displayed by the seller.
