Firstly, remove the broken handle screws with a screwdriver from the side of the chair and gently pull/pry the broken handle assembly out.

Secondly, remove the handle and cable, notice exactly how the cable connects to the recliner handle.

Thirdly, reinstall the cable with the new recliner handle and stuck it with retaining Clips.

Finally, replace the screws and complete the reclienr replacement easily!
