This is a set of four Halston Armchairs, originally designed by Charles Pfister for the Metropolitan Furniture Company in 1979. These particular examples were produced in the 1980s. Very rare and highly collectible, the design features Pfister’s refined postmodern sensibility with a clean, architectural silhouette and a sleek cantilevered frame.
Each chair is constructed with a polished chrome-plated tubular steel base with integrated armrests, paired with generously padded seat and back cushions which were recently reupholstered in black leather.
The listed price includes all four chairs to be sold together as a set.
Each chair measures 22.75 inches long, 24.25 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high, with a seat height of 18.5 inches. These pieces show light wear consistent with age and previous use and remain in very good overall vintage condition. Please see photos.

We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
