This is a rare, large scale vintage original exhibition poster produced in 1977 in conjunction with the exhibition of Warhol's Torso paintings at Ace Gallery at the Grand Palais in Paris. Warhol's Torsos examine the subject of classical nudes and celebrates the beauty of the male body. The exhibition unabashedly re-centered Warhol's own sexuality in his work. This is a rare and out-of-print opportunity to purchase a vintage poster directly from Warhol’s personal collection.
Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts. Since its inception in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation has been a stalwart advocate for freedom of expression, supporting work that is experimental and challenging in nature and from communities that have been historically marginalized.

The sale of this artwork directly benefits the work of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The Andy Warhol Foundation was established in 1987 in accordance with Andy Warhol's will for the advancement of the visual arts. Through their grant making initiatives, the Foundation supports the creation, presentation and documentation of contemporary visual art, particularly work that is experimental, under-recognized, or challenging in nature.

A: Unless otherwise noted above the campaign is open worldwide. All international shipments use FedEx. CHECK SHIPPING COST BEFORE BIDDING. We cannot pre-determine such fees and are not responsible for these additional costs.

A: An invoice will be sent to the winning bidder via eBay or Matchfire to confirm the payment amount and payment instructions. Payment must be in U.S. funds and received within two (2) business days of the close of the auction.

Winning bidders must provide a physical address and phone number. We only ship via FedEx with Direct Signature required. Barring unanticipated circumstances and/or any special fulfillment conditions, the estimated delivery time is one week after final payment is received and acknowledged.
