1970 Franklin Mint Historic Silver Last U.s. Treasury Silver Commemorative 10000 Grains Ingot Sterling Silver Ingot # 7396  Rare !!! 
February 11, 2026 - 10,000 grains (20.83 troy ounces) sterling silver. Cast from the last lot of silver in the U.S. Treasury which was sold at a historic auction. This was the last 1.6 million ounces of available silver bullion and it was sold in a sealed bid process on November 10, 1970. The Franklin Mint was the successful bidder for the entire lot with a bid of $2,875,000. Ingots were minted with a portion of this last lot of silver. The reverse inscription on each ingot certifies that the silver contained therein is wholly from the last silver lot. The ingot measures 4 5/8" x 1 7/8".
