This product is designed to replace the potentiometer in the preamplifier of power amplifiers.

It is made with 1% precision resistors and features a symmetrical design. The working principle involves the main control unit switching the resistance values of 8 double-pole relays, providing 0 to 255 different resistance settings. During the switching process, the relays will make a clicking sound (please do not purchase if you are sensitive to this sound). The original intention of designing this volume control board was to solve the problem of asymmetrical resistance values in the left and right channels of traditional potentiometers, which can cause sound distortion. As it uses relays to switch resistors to control the volume, the clicking sound from the relays is inevitable. However, as an audiophile, the pursuit of improved sound quality makes the sound during operation negligible.

But if you are bothered by it, please do not purchase

One such control board can control the volume of two channels, and two boards can be used in a balanced amplifier (a balanced circuit has four channels). For usage instructions, please refer to the text description in the picture.
