Originally published in 1946, this Basic French Course  is the second revised edition released in 1968.  Historical educational materials & memorabilia.

Published by Crown Publications, New York.
By Ralph Weiman, fornerly Chief of Language Section, U.S. War Department. Revised and enlarged by Mary Finochiaro and Remunda Cadoux (you may read their accreditations on the photo'd page).

Includes:
~Common Usage Dictionary (French - English and English - French).
~40 lessons complete on four 33-1/3 RPMs vinyl records.
~Everyday Conversation Manual.

Vinyls are pretty immaculate, and honestly, look as if a phonograph needle ever touched.  Both books as well look as if the pages have not been turned...only the exterior covers show age, one more than the other.

Box shows age and wear but structural integrity to hold materials.
