Each tricorder is printed at a high infill density to give it realistic weight and rigidity. After printing, the surfaces are wet sanded by hand to remove layer lines and produce a smooth, finished appearance before final assembly.

The body has been redesigned to accept stainless steel hinges rather than the plastic hinges commonly used on other replicas. This provides smoother action, a more authentic feel, and long-term durability. They also look amazing!

All decals have been redesigned for enhanced appearance. Decals are printed at a high resolution, covered in a high-quality premium matte vinyl for durability and protection from spills or moisture, and then precision cut to the exact size. They are then carefully aligned and applied before final assembly.

The included holster has been redesigned with a hidden internal compartment and is lined with felt to protect the tricorder’s finish. This upgrade improves both function and presentation and is not found on standard builds.

A matching display stand is included, allowing the tricorder to be displayed open or closed.
