Great Planes Ultra Sport 60 ~ Laser-cut Rib & Fuselage Former Set 

Note: This is not a complete kit. A plan is not included, and additional materials are required to complete the model.

The Ultra Sport 60 (OZ6177) first appeared in RCM Magazine in August 1989, and this set represents the design as originally kitted by Great Planes. The Ultra Sport 60 is renowned for being easy to build, totally predictable and smooth-flying, with very docile stall characteristics, making it an outstanding sport aircraft for pilots seeking a higher degree of precision. Its natural ability to track cleanly through manoeuvres means many pilots find they simply fly better when flying an Ultra Sport. 

The original plan provides three undercarriage options—retracts, tail skid, and tricycle—and this rib set can be adapted for all three versions, with engraved reference markings to assist the builder in modifying the appropriate ribs to suit their chosen configuration.

• 4 formers cut from quality 3.2mm balsa
• 8 fuselage formers cut from 3.0mm liteply
• 2 fuselage side doublers cut from 3.0mm liteply
• 1 chin block base & 1 fuse top plate cut in 3.0mm liteply
