Original floral still life painting by Italian artist Franco Rispoli (1921-1989), signed at lower left. Oil on canvas, circa mid-20th century, illustrating a dying floral arrangement with somber colours and a barrage of heavily textured brushstrokes in Impressionistic style.

Excellent vintage condition. Photos are taken in different lighting conditions, thus the shade difference between the main photo and the rest... 

Original wood frame, hand carved, has a couple of minor dings and scratches on it, however nothing stands out terribly. Heavy discolouration and spotting is present on the backside of the canvas, which is consistent with old and ageing oil paintings.

Overall measurements with the frame are 20" x 24", the canvas itself measures 12" x 16".
