The brass swivel that is attached to one end of the bike link kit will allow your keys to rotate in a 360 degree rotation without binding or tying up. To put it simply, it's a coupling between two parts enabling one to revolve without turning the other.
As with most of my keychains that I make, all of the materials used are corrosion resistant so it will last for a very long time.
I use Loctite Blue on all of my keychains that I make. Loctite Blue is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners and secures nuts and bolts from accidental loosening.
