Newton Floordrain D3 comes without the upstand of the Newton Basedrain D1 and is used for collection of water at the construction joint to the floor and to replace Basedrain at door thresholds. Floordrain is also used to connect the perimeter Basedrain to the sump.

Newton BaseDrain D1 remains the drainage channel for the perimeter of the area to be waterproofed, situated at the base of the wall membrane.
