Children Chasing Butterflies Gutta Percha Early Photograph Case w/ Ambrotype

Description: Beautiful, embossed case with a playful scene of children chasing butterflies on the front and back. A young man's photo on the inside with a red velvet impressed design on the other side. The photo is surrounded with a tooled gold leaf frame.

Condition: Very good condition. One small chip close to the catch.  The velvet interior has some light wear. SEE PHOTO. The hinge and catch work perfectly. The photo is clear and clean.

Measurements: 2 1/2" tall X 2 1/4" wide.
