This is far from a perfect example and as you can see the lever cap isn't a lever cap! I don't believe Stanley would have made what is there but I don't know for sure, it basically slides on and you can tighten the centre screw to keep all in place.
The Iron looks like it has very feint markings of a Stanley mark but it is hard to tell, certainly looks like it has been with the plane for a long time.
There is some rust staining and light pitting on sole as shown, there are also some scratches on the sole, one being near the mouth which I am certain is a scratch and not a crack. The front knob has the slightest of 'flats' to it one side but barely seen.
Overall even with the issues above this is a lovely looking plane.
Main casting on the sole is 5 3/8" x 1 1/2" The bottom overall length including the handle overhang is 5 3/4"
I have set international postage as if going to USA with full insurance. It may end up cheaper going elsewhere, please ask.
