  1. Installation Liability
    AFR Refrigeration accepts no liability for any damages, defects, or performance issues arising from compressors that have not been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guide. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that installation is carried out correctly and by a qualified professional.
  2. Faulty Goods
    If a compressor is suspected to be faulty, it must be returned to the manufacturer for testing and verification (At the cost of the Buyer). Once the manufacturer has completed their assessment and confirmed the fault, AFR Refrigeration will provide either:
    • A full refund, or
    • A replacement unit

In order to process a warranty replacement, proof of install by a registered professional may be requested by our team in order to ensure that manufacturers installation procedures have been adhered to at all times – Failure to provide proof may mean that returns / refunds cannot be processed and the requested return may be rejected.

 

  1. Returns Process
    • All returns must be authorized prior to shipping.
    • The unit must be returned in its original condition and packaging where possible.
    • All suction & discharge ports must be crimped shut and not taped – any units returned taped will be void of any return and rejected. It will also be as the cost of the buyer to have the compressor shipped back out.
    • Single phase compressors must be returned with all original electrics – Any units returned without all original electrics will be void of any return and rejected. It will also be as the cost of the buyer to have the compressor shipped back out.
    • Any costs associated with returning the item to the manufacturer are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the fault is confirmed.
  2. General
    By purchasing a condensing unit from AFR Refrigeration, the purchaser agrees to these terms of sale in full.
