Created to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the 72th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn, Rama X, on July 28, 2024.

Front side: The center of the medal features the portrait of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn. His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklao Chao Yu Hua is depicted wearing the full ceremonial uniform of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the robe of the Chakri Dynasty, and the Most Glorious Order of the Chakri Dynasty and the Chulalongkorn Necklace. The inscription around the bottom rim of the coin reads "His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklao Chao Yu Hua".
The reverse side features the emblem of the celebration of His Majesty the King's 72th birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024, in the center. The inscription around the bottom rim reads "The Grand Celebration of His Majesty the King's 72th Birthday Anniversary, July 28, 2024". The outer edge of the coin, on the front, above the number 10 under the Great Crown of Victory, with the Nine-Tiered White Royal Umbrella behind it. In the lower right corner is the number "7," and in the left is the number "2," signifying His Majesty's 72nd birthday.
On the reverse side, the outer edge of the medal has a loop for men to attach to a ribbon (32 mm wide). For women, it can be attached to the same ribbon and tied in the shape of a dragonfly.
***It can be worn like any other order of merit:
- For men, it can be worn on the left side of the chest.
Alternatively, if not worn as an order of merit, it can be worn around the neck or in other suitable ways without a ribbon.
