💡🎮 Rare NUBY GAME LIGHT™ Aftermarket Nintendo Game Boy Screen Light

A true estate goldmine discovery — this is an original NUBY Manufacturing Co. GAME LIGHT™, an aftermarket screen light ONLY accessory made for the original Nintendo Game Boy (DMG era). This unit does NOT include a magnifier and was never installed with glass or plastic — it is strictly a light attachment, exactly as shown.

This distinction matters, and this example is being listed accurately and transparently.

This piece comes from the estate of a top Rolls-Royce engineer who owned millions of dollars in rare worldwide collectibles. Many items from this estate were purchased internationally in places like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Pakistan, and preserved long before retro gaming became mainstream.

What you are getting:

• Authentic NUBY Manufacturing Co. GAME LIGHT™

• SCREEN LIGHT ONLY — NO MAGNIFIER

• Hinged light housing with built-in on/off switch

• Designed to clip over the Game Boy screen area

• Original aftermarket accessory from the late 1980s / early 1990s

• Game Boy NOT included

Condition & testing notes (important):

• Vintage pre-owned condition with normal cosmetic wear and age discoloration

• Hinge functions properly

• No glass or plastic lens — this is correct for this unit

• NOT tested

• May require switch or contact cleaning

• Sold as-is due to age and untested electronics

These NUBY light-only units are far less common than magnifier combos, and many collectors actively seek them to complete accessory sets accurately. Finding one intact, unbroken, and correctly identified is increasingly difficult.
