Harvested and pressed from July to December, the sugar cane produces a sweet liquid that thickens into a syrup before the formation of the first crystals. The La Perruche brand was created in the latter part of the 19th century and won several medals at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889, the year famous for the construction of the Eiffel Tower!
