This small form factor desktop is powered by a 3.9 GHz Intel Core i3-7100 Dual-Core processor that will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. The 4GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM also helps the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously, as well as access frequently-used files and programs. The current memory configuration is one 4GB module with an additional slot available for memory upgrades, making for a total of two 288-pin DIMM slots. With both DIMM slots in use, this system supports 32GB of RAM, or 16GB per slot, to keep up with the current demands of the latest software programs. Additionally, DDR4 utilizes less power than DDR3.

For long-term storage of your files, a 500GB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drive offers ample space to store your data. If you want to connect with external storage drives or other peripherals, the ProDesk 400 G4 features four USB 3.0 Type-A ports and four USB 2.0 Type-A ports. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 chipset delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for a wide range of monitors to be used via its one DisplayPort and one VGA port outputs. Two expansion slots, one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 3.0 x16 wired as x4, allow you to add peripherals such as an optional dedicated graphics card. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Conexant CX20632 codec outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.
