1984 20 Centavos Mexico Coins, Lot of 40, Olmeca Statue, KM 491 – Great Luster!

A beautiful 40-piece group of 1984 20 Centavos Estados Unidos Mexicanos coins!  A very nice representation of this coin.  There has been no cleaning of any kind.  Some of the coins may have evidence of a patina.  The luster is authentic.  Numista lists the composition as brass, however NGC lists the composition as bronze.  These coins have been carefully stored for decades.

The coins are all in similar condition.  The coins pictured are the ones tha tship.  Buyer makes own assessment of grade.  Coins will be shipped in coin rolls to minimize knocking during transit and ships with tracking.

Minted in 1983 and 1984 only, this 20 Centavos coin features the Colossal Olmeca head statue at 3/4 right turn and the stylized Mexico National Arms of an eagle facing left with a snake and a cactus.  The Olmecs were an ancient pre-Columbian people of Mesoamerica who lived and thrived from 2500 BC to 500 BC on the Gulf Coast, in the Mexico Basin, and along the Pacific coast.
