Dial: Features faceted hour markers and a Roman numeral “XVI” above the six o’clock position. As shown in the photos, the dial has developed a “spider dial” crack pattern, which is common for this model. Commercial versions, such as this one, were marked with “XVI” instead of the Olympic medal found on the extremely rare prototype pieces presented to athletes and dignitaries.
