Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and German-made precision, this tool combines reliability, durability and ergonomic use. The head is made of hardened carbon steel C45, which ensures high resistance to blunting, impact and difficult working conditions. Its wide profile and expanding cutting geometry facilitate the separation of wood fibers with minimal user effort. The handle, made of selected hickory wood, is characterized by exceptional overload resistance and flexibility, which effectively dampens vibrations generated during impacts. The ergonomic handle design improves control and reduces fatigue during prolonged use. C45 is a medium carbon structural steel with a carbon content between 0.42% and 0.50% (by weight). It offers a good combination of tensile strength (Rm ≈ 600-750 MPa after normalization) and ductility. It is used for the production of various machine parts, including shafts, axles, gears, pins, as well as structural elements with medium loads. It is characterized by better machinability compared to higher carbon steels, but like other carbon steels, it is susceptible to corrosion.

NOTE! It is not stainless steel, so it requires minimal maintenance after use or if it is not to be used for a long time.

Head - made of durable C45 carbon steel, valued for its wear resistance and ability to maintain sharpness. Its design is specifically for wood splitting - not the classic Yankee or Rheinland shape, but a specially profiled wedge shape with a widening cross-section. Thanks to this geometry, the blade easily penetrates the wood structure and then gradually pushes the fibers apart, which greatly facilitates the splitting process. Compared to traditional heads, this profile reduces the risk of the blade getting stuck in the trunk and allows for more dynamic, efficient work. The right balance ensures good control with every strike, minimizing fatigue even during long work sessions. The smooth surface finish of the head further increases corrosion resistance and improves the aesthetics of the tool. The head is permanently and securely embedded, which translates into many years of trouble-free use.

Handle – made of selected American hickory wood, valued for its exceptional strength and natural durability. The ergonomic profile of the handle ensures a secure grip and high comfort of use, even during long-term work in demanding conditions. The upper part of the handle, where it meets the head, is protected by a steel collar, which protects the wood from damage resulting from missed strikes. The lower part has been coated with a water-based paint with a rough, non-slip structure, which additionally improves the grip of the hand and enables precise tool guidance. The applied protection of the surface of the handle increases its resistance to weather conditions and significantly extends its service life. The pommel is mounted on a triple safety system: a wooden wedge and two steel ring wedges, which ensures maximum safety and durability during intensive use of the axe.
