Description

This is a rare Edison lamp box wooden box corner joinery shipment box for light bulbs. This box would've held Mazda incandescent light bulbs which was a trademarked name registered by General Electric in 1909 & the name was in use from 1909 through 1945 in the U.S. by GE & Westinghouse. Although this box would've held light bulbs it unfortunately does not include any with the box. Wording on the side of the box "Edison Lamp Box". Fantastic size with a cut out handle on one end wall & exceptionally clean!!!

It measures approximately 9 inches Length by 6 1/2 inches height by 6 1/8 inches width.

In excellent condition for age. Very clean for age.   Small spots of white paint on top upper back edge & one tight drying line/crack on one short end wall near "Edison".  A very sturdy box perfect for primitive decorating, display & or use. Please see pictures for more description.
