Vintage Edwardian Regal Renaissance Cerise Gold Theatrical Costume Midi Dress 8

A vintage custom made cerise purple/pink and gold brocade renaissance costume dress. It features a square neckline with a white lace frill seam with gold satin brocade half puff sleeves with side bows and lots of fine decoration. There is a cream cotton under dress and the pink and gold pinafore is on top with a detachable gold brocade apron and there is a reverse zip closing with a tiered and flounced lower midi skirt and comes with a matching headband. The dress is in great condition for it's age as you can see from the pictures. Just two points to note. The inside neck lining has mild discolouration as pictured but can't be externally seen and the reverse side waist has minor blemishes that are in fact covered with the gold brocade belt all as pictured. It's a quality costume, ideal for Film, TV or Theatre.

As it's custom made are no labels and I've listed it as a Size 8 and best to check the exact measurements which are when laid flat: Underarms 44cm's, overall length 117cm's. The shoulder to shoulder measures 33cm's and the outside arm measures 36cm's and the waist measures 33cm's.
