This is an extremely fine inter-war/WWII British Royal Air Force Senior Pilot’s Wing for the Full-Dress Uniform. It is hand embroidered in metallic gold and silver bullion thread on RAF blue gabardine material. The wing measures 4¾ inches from wingtip to wingtip and is thickly padded. The reverse is faced with black paper with the hand embroidery detail evident. It remains a beautiful example of a full-dress pilot’s with in excellent, undamaged condition.
