The Ring Pull can / tin / soda opener utilises a two-action process that positions the fulcrum as close as possible to the hinge. This maximises leverage during the full lid removal process, which means minimal force is required to remove the lid.
Remove risk of snapping off tab
Two separate actions to lift the tab up and then pull back the ring, reduces the stress on the hinge which removes risk of snapping it off.
Having the fulcrum so close to the hinge also reduces the risk of tipping the can over, and maximises stability.
