This is an old school, super high quality, heavier weight Ralph Lauren Polo menswear sweater. My friend worked for Ralph NYC corporate back in the 80's and we wore all things Polo...she bought this for her husband who never even wore it.
Note that this is a rare, classic Ralph henley cable knit sweater with a lot of stretch. I have not seen another one like it.
This sweater has a classic 2 button placket and an engineered navy collar with 3 white stripes.
The fiber content is a 100% cotton.
The measurements as follows are approximate:
Chest at armhole = 50"
Bottom opening at rib = 34"
Across the shoulder = 21"
Sleeve length unrolled cuff = 27"
Sleeve length rolled cuff = 25"
Sleeve opening at rib = 7"
Center back lenght from neck seam = 25"
Note that where there is rib, it will stretch.
I machine washed (cold water) and line dryed this sweater....even though the care instructions say "dry clean"... I only sell clean clothes & this was in storage for around 40 plus years.
Remember that this fabulous sweater is freshly laundered, so you can take it right out of the box and wear it now !!!
