My parents were born in the 1930s and owned these bells since my Dad was a little boy he would now be in his 90s. It's time for me to let go of some of our family heirlooms in order to send our daughter to college🙏

It will be expensive to ship so just be aware it will be about $35-$40. Antique Sleigh Bell Strap – 21 Graduated Brass Bells (Late 1800s)

This is an original set of 21 brass sleigh bells inherited from my family. The bells show clear age, patina, and hand-cast character typical of late 19th-century American makers.

Maker Markings

Several bells show a clearly stamped “W”, with a second partial letter that has worn down over time (commonly seen on older William Barton bells). One of the larger bells is marked “No. 9” near the sound slit, consistent with 1800s size-number stamping.

Other bells have early decorative sunburst-style markings and shallow design impressions, typical of 19th-century handcrafted sleigh bells.

Graduated sizes (largest at the top, smallest near the end)

Bells have a wonderful, bright, clear tone

Original brass bells with beautiful aged patina

Leather strap is a later replacement but sturdy and display-ready

All bells intact, no cracks

Condition

These bells are over a century old, so they show normal vintage wear, patina, and light surface marks from use. All bells ring beautifully.
