Up for sale is this genuine hard to find Ansul 10 E (10) pound fire extinguisher vehicle mounting bracket from a CHP cruiser. New these brackets are over $150.00. If you are restoring a CHP vehicle you know how hard these are to come by. Ansul 10lb. fire extinguishers and brackets have been used for decades by the California Highway Patrol. All C.H.P. vehicles have a Ansul fire extinguisher mounted in them along with this bracket. Most of the CHP vehicle equipment is reused or destroyed making it very hard to come by as you know if you are restoring a vehicle. This could be the finishing touch for your CHP Polara, Monaco, Diplomat, Mustang Camaro, Caprice, Dodge Charger or Crown Victoria restoration. This is time correct for the many vehicles listed above. The last five pictures show brackets installed in various in service vehicles.
