ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is a Lady Lavery £5 / 5 Punt banknote issued by the Central Bank of Ireland in Dublin in 1955 at a time when Irish Banknotes were STERLING  and payable in LONDON and this was displayed on the banknote - see photos. The banknote is no longer legal tender as Ireland is a member of the EU and now uses the Euro as its currency. The serial number of the banknote is 67w349874. Lady Lavery banknotes are highly sought after and collectable, especially those Payable In London.

ITEM CONDITION

I do not grade banknotes or coins but I do provide as best a description as I can. The items in the photographs are the items you are bidding for so please see the photos and assess the item condition for yourself. 

This is a superb banknote that has been circulated and has a few visible pin holes on the bottom edge and a small edge tear, again along the bottom edge but has no ink marks - please see extra photos for details. The banknote does have ageing, creases and folds etc as you would expect due to its age. Please see photos and judge the condition for yourself.

POSTAGE / COMBINED POSTAGE

Items will be posted within 1 to 3 days of cleared payment. Banknotes are posted using boarded envelopes to protect the banknotes, coins are posted in padded envelopes, and items will be posted using signed for / recorded delivery. 

Postage can be combined for multiple wins for similar items such as banknotes only or coins only. Combined postage cannot be used for mixed items such as coins and banknotes together as this can cause damage to banknotes etc. If in doubt please just ask. 

Postage costs include secure packaging and handling. Items are posted as large letters and 1st class signed for delivery in the UK for this item is £3.00. International tracked postage for this item is £9.00.
