The base of the cup and the center of the Saucer have an octagonal design that fits together.  the cup measures abou 2.5 inches tall, and 3.5 inches in diameter.   The saucer is about 5 inches in diameter.   It also has an octagonal shape.  Very unique.  There are no chips, stains or cracks.  It's nice to have a spare or two to add to your collection.  Please see all pictures.
