Afterward, “San Mateo” continued operating in the Pacific Northwest on multiple routes, including:

  • Kingston – Edmonds

  • Fauntleroy – Vashon – Harper

  • Bremerton

  • Edmonds – Seattle – Winslow

Her final voyage took place on Labor Day, 1969, closing a long and varied career in American passenger transport.
