For sale is an authentic size XXL Ilya Kovalchuk autographed 2004 NHL All Star Game Eastern Confernce white and red jersey. The jersey is unworn and contains the original tags. Ilya has cleanly signed his name and number in silver sharpie on the “1” of his number “17” on the back of the jersey. On the upper left of the front of the jersey is the NHL shield logo patch. Diagonally across the front of the jersey is “EASTERN” in red letters for Eastern Conference. On the right shoulder is the “All Star Game Minnesota 2004” patch as the game was played in Minnesota. On the left shoulder is the Atlanta Thrashers logo patch as Ilya played for the Atlanta Thrashers in 2004. On each sleeve is Ilya’s number 17 in white with a red outline on a red part of the jersey. Around the red tail of the jersey are white stars with an NHL puck patch on the rear right tail of the jersey. On the outside back collar is the CCM insignia. Across the back of the jersey is “KOVALCHUK” in red sewn on letters on a sewn on white name plate. Underneath “KOVALCHUK” in the center of the back of the jersey is again Ilya’s number 17 in red and outlined in white. This jersey comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity from Alpha Gameready Sports Inc and CoolHockey.com guaranteeing and verifying Ilya Kovalchuk’s signature. I have included the COA in my pictures. Ilya Kovalchuk was drafted first overall in 2001 by the Atlanta Thrashers. He tied for the lead in the NHL in goals scored with 41 during the 2003-04 season (the year of this All Star Game). He holds the Atlanta Thrashers single season goal total with 52……doing it twice in the 2005-06 and 2007-08 seasons. He played in 926 NHL games scoring 443 goals with 433 assists for 876 points. He also played in another 40 Stanley Cup playoff games scoring 11 goals with 17 assists for 28 points. In addition to the Thrashers Ilya played for the New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadians and Washington Capitals.
