Ta Tanka Lodge # 488 was chartered in 1952, part of a post WWII-spread of the Order of the Arrow in the West.
Ta Tanka Lodge #488's first flap (F1) was issued in 1954. The design features a brown buffalo on a red background with a white border. This is F2, notice the Totem is a white buffalo (twill Top / Cut Edge Red Border).
In 2006, Ta Tanka Lodge absorbed the Los Angeles County-based portion of Navajo Lodge No.98.
In 2015, Ta Tanka Lodge merged with Siwinis Lodge No.252 to form Tuku’Ut Lodge No.33.
I have had this in my collection for 52 years.
I will be listing loads of Boy Scout / Order of the Arrow collectibles. I traded for the majority of the items from 1969 (OA Conferences) & Philmont Scout Ranch to 1973 (National Jamboree in Idaho).
Time to let everything go. I am trying to get enough money to buy a Leica lens. Trying in my "old age" to pursue my photography hobby.
