Wisaka WWW Lodge -

Merged in 1967

Scarce! FIRST FLAP - MINT

Wisaka Lodge 170 is a historical lodge that was part of the national Boy Scouts of America's Order of the Arrow honor society.
Wisaka Lodge No.170 was officially formed in July 1959, resulting from the merger of two existing lodges The name Wisaka is a Native American-inspired name; "White Buffalo".

The Council's name Illowa, I believe that the councils name is because Illinois and Iowa border each other along the Mississippi River. Iowa is located west of Illinois, and the Mississippi River forms the boundary between the two states in that region.

The existence of Wisaka Lodge came to an end in 1967 when the Sac Fox Council (home of Wisaka) merged with the Buffalo Bill Area Council. The OA lodges from these two councils, Wisaka Lodge No.170 and Golden Eagle Lodge No.313, merged to form the new Muc-Kis-Sou Lodge No.170, which retained the lower number.

I have had this in my collection for 53 years.

I will be listing loads of Boy Scout / Order of the Arrow collectibles. I traded for the majority of the items from 1969 (OA Conferences) & Philmont Scout Ranch to 1973 (National Jamboree in Idaho).

Time to let everything go. I am trying to get enough money to buy a Leica lens. Trying in my "old age" to pursue my photography hobby.
