This Hitachi camcorder turns the power on, images can be seen properly, but it has disc reading error when a standard DVD-R disc is loaded (no test with DVD-RAM disc). The camcorder has to be sold as it is with no return and no guarantee for its working condition. Cosmetically the camcorder shows sign of previous use with normal scratches on the casing, otherwise is in great condition all over the unit. The LCD screen, viewfinder, and lens are all in excellent shape with no visible scratch.
