19th Century American Blown Glass 7 3/4 Inch Inverted Show Jar Apothecary Globe

Antique mid 19th century American clear blown glass inverted apothecary globe show jar. Ground and polished pontil. Circa 1840 to 1860s.

Has a chip to the rim, and an unground area to the edge of the pontil, but it is smooth so probably in manufacture. Otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide x 7 3/4 inches tall.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
