Up for sale, a 1989 Fender “Order Made” Micro Telecaster model TL-MINI in showroom clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags. A decidedly unique (not to mention adorable) model, this exceedingly rare “Made in Japan” Tele was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production as part of the Order Made program, which offered numerous non-catalog component options, and features a diminutive ash body, 21-fret one-piece maple neck, and ultra compact 14” scale length.

Small in stature but certainly not lacking in tone, this TL-MINI features full-sized components and electronics, offering a tone that’s largely aligned with an electric mandolin. Bright, chiming and clear, the Alnico magnet single coil delivers quintessential Tele sparkle and snap. This TL-MINI weighs 5lbs 4oz and has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-54 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
