Step back into the Victorian era with this charming 4-volume 1890s set of Nature’s Wonderland: Short Talks on Natural History. Filled with engaging essays and beautiful period illustrations, these books capture the wonder of the natural world through the eyes of 19th-century scholars and explorers.

A wonderful addition for collectors of antique natural history, educators, and lovers of vintage science writing. Lovely display value — perfect for a library shelf or curiosity cabinet.

Condition:
Good antique condition for age. Light wear to covers and edges, age toning to pages, bindings are loose, there is writing in the front of two of the books (please see images). I found one torn page. Illustrations clear and pages clean overall with little foxing throughout.
