Antique Georgian 18K Gold Diamond Black Enamel Mourning Ring 8g Size 9.75

Here we have a truly stunning Antique Georgian 18K Gold Diamond Black Enamel Mourning Ring 8g Size 9.75. The ring features beautiful accents of black enamel throughout the outer band of the ring, reading "IN MEMORY OF" across. The middle of the bezel contains a single old cut diamond measuring 3 mm in diameter. The interior is hallmarked "IJ", a fish, a lion, and a trumpet. It is also inscribed/engraved  "Isabel Grasler of 19 March 1831 at 72".

The ring shows use of lead soldering which was common from Georgian goldsmiths from that era. The ring's 18k gold purity has been verified using an XRF metal testing machine. The ring weighs 8 grams, the band measures 9.5mm wide, and the ring size is a size 9.75.

The ring is in good condition considering the age. The ring's black enamel accents on the shoulders have faded, partially missing. The ring shows some signs of wear.
